Christmas in Australia

December 14, 2007

Winter is just around the corner… All that many of us in North America need to do is open the front door, only to be greeted by a blast of cool or frigid air. We do associate Christmas with cool or unbelievably cold weather – depending upon where your neck of the woods is located. Naturally, many children mistakenly equate Christmas with cold weather, so they will appreciate the opportunity to compare and contrast their hoilday celebrations with their counterparts in other countries.

This week, devote a unit study to helping your child see how their peers down under celebrate the holiday season.
I recently created a series of links to help you get started. Visit Christmas in Australia – A Unit Study today!
